How would you explain your job to people outside of the company? My sole job is to go out and win new business. That can be across various types of industries, understanding and building relationships with clients to see how we can support them with their needs of pallets.
How did you get into your role? I’ve worked in Sales for almost 10 years.
Walk us through a typical day at work: Every day is different in this job. 1 day I may be at a networking event, and the next at a trade show. A huge part of my role is looking for new business, so working from home and allowing time for this is important.
What was your first paying job? I worked as a sales assistant in a clothing store, House of Fraser.
What do you like to do outside of work? I’m a gym go-er, so my partner and I enjoy going to the gym together, long walks when the sun’s out and enjoying an espresso martini on the weekend with my friends.
Are you a sports fan? Who are your favourite teams? I’m a Manchester United fan (unfortunately).
Where do you see yourself progressing within Scott Pallets/and or wider group businesses? I am new to the business and 1 of the BIG reasons I joined was because I could see the huge growth journey that the company is on. I thoroughly enjoy working in the BD environment and I’m excited to see my progression as our team grows and I support new colleagues along the way.
